MENU BAR NAVIGATION - The navigation just under the photo includes a link to the home page of the blog, an "About" page that can contain your own content, and RSS feed links.
LEFT COLUMN - The order of the left column is fixed. It includes:

Tags - This list is automatically generated from the Tags you assign to each post as it is written. Treat these tags like categories to avoid an overwhelming tag cloud. Determine what categories your posts will fit into and use the same Tags consistently
News - This area can contain your own content
Links - You can create multiple links under multiple categories
Archives - This list is automatically generated
